Custom Jewelry, Made in Auburn
One-of-a-kind custom jewelry, designed and created inside our local Auburn studio.
Since 1995, Jewelry by Design has helped customers transform meaningful ideas, treasured stones, and personal stories into jewelry made especially for them.
What Does “Custom Jewelry” Mean at Jewelry by Design?
The word custom can mean many things. At some jewelry stores, it may describe selecting a setting, choosing a stone, changing the metal color, or combining pre-designed parts from a manufacturer’s catalog. Those choices can create a personalized piece, but that is not where custom jewelry ends at Jewelry by Design.
Here, custom jewelry begins with your idea. Our in-house design team works with you to develop the concept, refine every detail, and create a piece specifically for you inside our on-premise design and manufacturing studio in Auburn, Alabama.
You do not need a finished design to begin. Bring us a sketch, an inspiration photo, an heirloom diamond, an old setting, or simply an idea you cannot quite put into words. We will help you shape it into something entirely your own.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation.
From the initial design and digital rendering to model creation, casting, stone setting, finishing, and final inspection, your jewelry is handled by the same local team you meet in our store. It is not sent away to an outside manufacturer, and you are not limited to selecting parts from a catalog.
With three in-store jewelers and more than 65 years of combined experience, Jewelry by Design has the expertise, technology, and creative freedom to produce jewelry that cannot be found anywhere else.
To us, custom jewelry is not simply “pick your parts.”
